Below are some of the ways your organization might engage as a coalition to help pass this bill. This list is certainly not exhaustive, and we recognize that all of our coalition partners and their members bring unique strengths to the work. Ideas for Organizational Engagement:
- Signal support by adding your organization’s logo to the coalition banner that appears on our website, one-pagers, and other materials to signal support
- Host an info session and Q&A where members of your organization can hear directly from the teachers championing this bill
- Sign on to a letter urging legislators to support the Racism-Free Schools Act
- Share a blurb in your organizational newsletter to inform your networks about the bill
- Help connect us with other organizations in your network who might support this work
- Ask individual members of your network to sign on through our website to be alerted about opportunities to help advance the bill, like contacting their local legislators.
- Share our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages/posts to amplify their reach and engage new supporters
- Share a statement or press release about why your organization supports this bill and how it connects to the work you do
