EXTENDED DAY OPTIONS

Many families require care for their children beyond the normal school hours. Holland Hall offers before and after school care for students – including drop-ins – allowing flexibility and convenience for our families.

Extended Day Programs adhere to the same philosophy to which your child is accustomed throughout the school day. Students will follow a routine that incorporates study hall, self-selected activities, group activities, and outside playtime. Extended Day options are available for Primary and Middle School students.

When a family requires aftercare, please email students’ teachers/teaching assistants and copy Debbie Almohandis, dalmohandis@hollandhall.org, with your detailed request. Once a regular schedule is established, no further emails are required unless your child will not attend that day. Email the teacher with any changes to the regular schedule — or if you need drop-in care — and copy Debbie Almohandis, dalmohandis@hollandhall.org.

This procedure allows us to have a record from you, teachers will know to drop your child off to the extended day staff, and this helps to eliminate third party communications.

Procare App and Rates

Our Extended Day program is supported by the Procare app.

Download the ProCare app here or on Google Play.

To pick up your student, you will need the Procare App on your mobile device. A QR code scan is required before any child can leave the building.

Billing

• One time annual registration fee – $30/per student
• Hourly Rates – $10/hr per billable full hour
• Online Bill Pay via Credit Card or ACH

Instructions for using the Procare app

Parents will receive a Procare email with a unique code. (New parents may not get this until close to the beginning of the school year.) Follow the steps to copy and paste the code to your Procare App. You will then receive your PIN code via another email that you will utilize for each check-in and check-out from your mobile device. Tap on the padlock icon on the top right corner of your phone, it will unlock the padlock and your PIN code will drop down.

Before using Extended Day, please access your child's Procare account to add the following information:

A) Birthdate

B) Allergies (ex: food, nuts, bee sting, needs EpiPen)

C) Additional Authorized Pick-up > this is for anyone, other than the parent(s), who you have given permission to, for drop off or pick up. Parents must share the added individual's PIN code with them. Anyone without a PIN code will not be allowed to pick up your child, NO exceptions.

D) Set up your payment plan option via credit/debit card or ACH as invoices are generated on the 1st of each month with a due date on the 5th.

Primary School Extended Day Programs

Located in the Primary School Extended Day Room and utilizing additional rooms as needed.

Before-School Care: 7-8 a.m.

Early Birds (EPK and PreK): 7-9 a.m.

NOTES

• The normal EPK curbside drop-off time is 7:50-8:10 a.m. This is when an Extended Day Program (EDP) staff member will come to your car and walk him or her in. If you arrive after 8:10, please park in the EDP circle drive on the far east side of the building and walk your child to the door. Ring the buzzer, and an EDP staff member will check your child in. Please remain with your child at the door until he or she is approved to enter. We believe this will help streamline drop-off in the mornings, and we appreciate your help!
• All before-school care runs from 7-8:45 a.m. on Wednesdays to accommodate late start.
• 1st-3rd grade drop-off after 7:50 a.m. is at the Primary School flagpole.

After-School Care

• EPK/PreK/JK – 2:45-6 p.m.
• K-3rd – 3:00-6 p.m.

NOTES

EPK-Kindergarten

• EPK/PreK/JK/K pick-up: call 539-476-8118 when you arrive.
• 2:45-3:55 p.m. – Pick up curbside at the EPK round-about.
• 4-4:30 p.m. – Pick up curbside by PS circle drive Bus Parking, located north of the EDP room, as the round-about is closed for activity time
• 4:30-6 p.m. – Pick up curbside in the EPK round-about

1st-3rd grade

• Pick-up: Call (539) 476-8118 when you arrive.
• 3:00-3:55 p.m. – Pick-up at the 1st-3rd grade playground
• 4-4:30 p.m. – Pick-up curbside by PS circle drive Bus Parking located north of EDP room
• 4:30-6 p.m. – Pick-up curbside in the EPK round-about

Middle School Extended Day Programs

Before-School Care: Tandy Dining Hall, 7-7:45 a.m.

Late-start Wednesdays: Before-school care runs from 7-8:45 a.m. The complimentary childcare hour starts at 7:45 a.m.

After-School Care: Tandy Self Conference Room, 3:15-6 p.m.

NOTES

• 4th-8th grade pick-up: Call (539) 476-8117 when you arrive
• 3:10-3:55 p.m. – Pick-up at Tandy south doors
• 4-4:30 p.m. – Pick-up is at the MS playground curbside (weather-permitting – 4-4:45 p.m.)
• 4:35-6 p.m. – Pick-up is at the Tandy south doors

Extended Day Program Details

• Students will have time to complete their homework
