AU Percy son of Neptune, champion of Vesta

Percy’s Background: Percy was born to Neptune and Sally Jackson. Neptune was sad that Percy had to live with an abusive stepfather, and asked Vesta to help raise him. Because the ancient laws only say a god can’t raise their own children, Vesta is perfectly capable of raising Percy. Percy becomes her champion, and when he turns twelve, he is sent to Camp Jupiter. He becomes friends with Jason, and attracted to Reyna.

-Jupiter arrives, gives a quest to Percy to recover his stolen bolt. Percy takes Jason and Reyna on this quest. They are attacked by Furies first.
-Second, they are attacked by Echidna and the Chimera at the St. Louis Arch. Percy is given pearls. Next, they make their way towards LA, stopping in Denver. There, they meet Mars, who tells Jason and Reyna to go get his shield he forgot after a date with Venus. Mars talks with Percy. “I’m assuming Vesta taught you of our alternate personalities?” Percy nodded. “She did.” “Good. Well, Ares was tricked into helping the thief, so the bolt will appear in that shield when you reach the Underworld. Also, Pluto’s helm will appear in this backpack,” Mars tossed Percy a blue backpack, “when you reach the Underworld. Good luck, cousin.”
-After they reach DOA Recording Studios, Percy bribes Charon so they can enter the Underworld. There, Pluto tries to kill them, but Percy tosses him his helm, and they all use the pearls to escape with the bolt. There, Jason and Reyna confront Percy. He explains that Mars tricked the thief into thinking he was working with them, but then gave them the items. They are happy with this explanation. Ares shows up, and duels Percy. Percy stabs him in the ankle, defeating him.
-They then fly to Manhattan, where they return Jupiter’s bolt to him. Percy is congratulated by both his patron and father on successfully completing his first quest.
SEA OF MONSTERS
-Terminus starts acting up, getting angrier than usual. Everybody ignores it, but Percy, Jason, Reyna, and Piper notice it.
-Octavian, checking the auguries, finds a prophecy, telling them to kill the Trojan Sea Monster. The usual crew goes on the quest. Mercury gives all three of them magical duffel bags with the necessities, as well as some magical multivitamins.
-They first head to Aeolus’ palace above Pikes’ Peak. They are attacked by Laistrygonians, and the Hydra along the way.
-After they meet with Aeolus, he gives them a wind thermos and tells them of the Trojan Sea Monster’s location in the Sea of Monsters. Then, they make their way towards the Bermuda Triangle, after Neptune gives them a boat. They sail in between Scylla and Charybdis, Jason using his powers to fight them off, nearly dying in the process.
-Nearby the Sirens, Jason expresses a wish to hear their song. Percy and Reyna agree to tie him to the mast and stuff wax in their ears to keep their heads. After they pass the Sirens successfully, they untie Jason, who is still entranced. Percy sees the vision he’s seeing - Jason, sat on a throne with Piper by his side, ruling the world. Jason is fed Mercury’s multivitamins, freeing him from the Siren’s song. Then, Percy learns that the son of Jupiter’s fatal flaw is lust for power.
-After the Sirens, they find the Trojan Sea Monster. Reyna makes up a plan where she is used as bait for the monster, to lure the monster into a trap. Percy is the one who gets the final blow in.
-When they return, Terminus is no longer acting up, and thanks them for restoring him. After they tell their story (minus describing Jason’s vision), Percy is made Junior Centurion of the Fifth, as Gwen is retiring. Then, Percy encourages Jason and Piper to get together, as he can see they love each other.
TITAN’S CURSE
-Shortly after Bianca and Nico arrive at camp, the Hunters do. A couple of days later, Apollo shows up, informing everybody that Diana has disappeared. He issues a prophecy, stating the champion of fire will show the way. Due to this, Zoe reluctantly takes Percy on the quest, along with Reyna and Bianca.
-During the battle at Othrys, Atlas taunts Percy about him keeping the secret of the Greek gods from his friends. This, understandably, gets Reyna mad at Percy. Percy ends up holding the sky while Diana combats Atlas.
-At Olympus, Bianca is made the lieutenant of the Hunters to replace Zoe, who died. This relaxes Percy, who thought Reyna was going to be Zoe’s replacement instead.
-After they return to Camp, Percy is promoted to Senior Centurion, while Jason becomes Junior Centurion. Afterwards, Reyna confronts Percy about the secrets. Percy makes her swear on the Styx not to tell anyone, and she complies. Then, Percy tells Reyna about the Greek Gods, and shows her Anaklusmos.

A/N: Sorry for not updating this story in a while. I’ve been busy with my other stories, but now I’ve decided to update this.
When they arrived at the colosseum, Reyna brought him to where the praetors were waiting, before leaving to go find her cohort to watch. Jesse handed him his weapons, before she left. The male praetor looked Percy over.
“Good luck, legionnaire.”
Then, both praetors headed to their box. Percy pressed his belt buckle. He was enveloped in an orange and sea green glow, before his armour appeared on his body. He tugged on the sword and shield charms on his bracelet, and they appeared in his hands. The son of Neptune walked onto the arena.
“Romans!” the male praetor shouted, hand raised. “Today, we are here to test a new recruit for the legion, Perseus Jackson, son of Neptune and champion of Vesta! Centurion Gwen of Cohort Five, step forward!”
A girl with brown hair and green eyes walked into the arena, eyeing Percy warily. She wielded an Imperial Gold gladius, with Roman style armour. When Reyna shouted for them to begin, she did not attack blindly.
Gwen sent a swipe at Percy’s legs, but he easily blocked and attacked Gwen, who blocked as well, but with much more difficulty than Percy. Gwen thrust her sword at Percy’s midsection, but it was batted aside. Percy slashed at her, and it glanced off her shield. Then, they locked blades. To everyone’s surprise, Percy flicked his wrist, sending Gwen’s blade flying out of her grasp. He put the tip of his sword, Tempestas, to her throat.
“Yield?”
The centurion’s eyes widened, and she nodded as much as she could. “I yield.”
