First graders,

Friday you will be choosing a book to receive the Irma Black Award.  Your vote counts! Make sure to review each of the books (Hair Love, The Most Terrible of All, Rocket Says Look Up!, and The Crayon Man) this week. Think carefully about the parts of the story that you liked the most.  You will need to share why you picked your winner when you vote.  I will be sending some of the ideas you send me to the authors and illustrators of these books.  How exciting!  Enjoy!
