 From the Scoutmaster

Hello Troop 77!

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and aren’t too tired from the sugar crash of too much candy and the falling back of time.  The troop had a great time carving pumpkins and learning all about kitchen knife safety.

This week, the moment is here!  Golden Spoon competition, where our Scouts will put their cooking skills to the test and prepare a meal for the judging crew to see who will win the coveted Golden Spoon award.  We’ll be dedicating most of the entire meeting to the competition, and Scouts are welcome and encouraged to arrive early to help setup and prepare coals if they are using charcoal for anything.

We’re all excited to have the Sandwich Project back at Troop 77.  With the threats of SNAP benefits expiring, we are hoping to supplement need in our community by packing over 1200 sandwiches.  Please see the link below and donate to help the Troop purchase supplies for this amazing event.

12/2 - High Adventure 2027 and Beyond.  Mr. Cole will be talking to all Scouts and parents who want to learn more about Scouting High Adventure.   What is High Adventure?  How often do we go?  How much does it cost?  Where do we go?  We’ll get in depth about everything about High Adventure.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to come

Special Notes:

Yours in Scouting,

Mr. Paul Mooring

Donate via the Troop 77 PayPal account, accessible here or via this QR code (select Sandwich Build from the dropdown menu).
