Two Person Chapman/Best Ball/Scramble

November 16, 2017

FORMAT: Two person team Chapman/Best Ball/Scramble. (THIS IS NOT A POSTABLE EVENT)

Holes 1 through 6:  Chapman modified alternate shot format.  Both players hit

from the tee.  Players switch and hit their partner’s ball on the second shot, then choose the best ball and play alternate shots on that ball until holed.  Either partner can hit the 1st alternate shot, and it is permissible to substitute your ball for your partner’s.

Holes 7 through 12:  Best Ball.  Each player plays his own ball.  Low gross score of the two players is the team score.  Players are not required to “putt out” and finish the hole if their score not used as the team score.

Holes 13 through 18:  Scramble.  Both players hit from the tee.  The team chooses the best ball and each player hits from that spot, continuing this process until the ball is holed.  Each player must have at least two tee shots in the scramble portion.
