Stravaduro 2025

The 2025 Stravaduro will be run for 3 rounds starting in January and running until March. Each round will take place over a single month with multiple segments as part of each round. Points will be earned for each segment completed. A winner will be declared for each round. An overall Men’s/Women’s winner will be declared at the end of the 3 rounds with prizes going to the overall winners.

Competition Rules
- Each round will start and end on the first and last day of that month
- Round 1: 01/01/25 – 31/01/25
- Round 2: 01/02/25 – 28/02/25
- Round 3: 01/03/25 – 31/03/25
- Rounds 1 and 2 will consist of multiple segments. Round 3 will be a special Downhill Round with only a single segment.
- Segments to be used for each round will be announced one week before the start of that round.
- Each competitor must have a valid Cycling Ireland Licence. (Leisure/Competitive)
- Competitors must complete and post their Strava segments for each round within the designated timeframe. Late entries will not be counted.
- Multiple entries may be submitted for each segment with only the fastest time being counted.
- Times must be uploaded within 24 hours of the Strava activity in which the segments were completed otherwise they will not be counted.
- Points are awarded per segment completed in descending based on the best time. See the Points Table below.
- The committee must be able to validate that the whole of the segment was ridden for the entered time, submissions where this is not possible will be rejected. To ensure this, the activity or activities that are submitted must extend before and after the segment by more than your privacy settings (you can find this under Settings > Privacy Controls > Map Visibility > Hide the start and end points of activities no matter where they happen. By default this will be at least 200m).
- If two or more competitors finish at the same time, they will be awarded equal points for the respective position in which they finished.
- Each round winner will be decided based on the total accumulated points for that round.
- In the case of a tie. The overall time for that round’s segments will be calculated and a winner will be declared.
- The overall winner will be the competitor who has accumulated the most points over the 3 rounds.
- In the case of a tie. The overall time for all the segments will be calculated and a winner will be declared.
- Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Men’s and Overall Women’s winners when round 3 is complete at the end of March.
- There will be a separate competition between the best MAD Members with prizes for the best overall in both Men’s and Women’s for each round.
