Opportunity: Natural Hair Stylist

Curl Suite Salon is looking for natural hair stylists, braiders and locticians. This is NOT an employee position. This is an opening for an independent contractor to offer services to our client list and build their own clientele inside of our salon environment.

• Skilled natural stylists with kindness, creativity, healthy boundaries and excellent communication skills.
• must be able to download and use Square Appointments and Curl Suite Salon app.
• Any clients that you work with here, you keep. Invite them to follow you to wherever you go next.

• Flexible availability

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned hairstyling services on clients from Curl Suite Salon schedule.
• Achieve the service targets for each appointment
• Bring in new clients to complete your client list.
• Conduct yourself with integrity and professionalism at all times
• Attend weekly staff meeting by Zoom or in person.
• Offer consultation about hair care and information about your services to clients
• Keep work station clean and ready for inspection according to TDLR requirements
• Participate in shared chores to keep the salon ready for inspection according to TDLR requirements
• Show up on time for your appointments, manage your schedule in a timely manner, communicate harmoniously and effectively with co-stylists and other team members

Our salon provides advertising, on-the-job training, competitive commission rates and flexible hours for all stylists.

$0-2500/wk, depending on services rendered and clientele base.
