Wednesday 

Beat and Greet: After a long day of driving and setting camp what better way to shake off the dust then to come over to the Town Square and throw down with some pick up fights there will be plenty of marshals and other fighters open to all rapier and C&T fighters. And once your done and ready for a drink we will have a mixer come and meet each other without masks and swords share a tale and a drink with your fellow fighters, this time will also be used for a marshal meeting.

Thursday 

Foolish Dagger Fight: a series of dagger fights with unconventional off hand items. Bring out your best use your imagination some ideas: a fan, a turkey leg, a dead cat, a unicorn. Please prepare your items with safety in mind as all items will need to be inspected prior to use. If you intend on using your item to strike with you will need permission from your opponent before doing so. Items will be made available if you forgot yours.

Blood of Heroes: Blood of Heroes is a melee with objectives. The tournament will be played as a round-robin in one or more pools depending on field availability and time. At the end of a set number of rounds, the top two teams will play a best of three match for the championship. This is a team game, each team will have 5 players each with their own “position”. The goal is to take the “ball” (a dog skull) and put it in the goal (a post). The full rules can be found here.

Friday 

Tournaments:

C&T Never-won-a tournament: A double elimination bring your best round robin to test your skills must have never won a tournament at a kingdom, principality, or baronial event.

C&T Masters Tournament: Not just for MODS, this is a period masters tournament show your prowess in a round robin tournament each fighter will fight every entry, each fight will be fought tell the first fighter to land three blows that shall be called as good. Each combatant will declare their period master and three principles/techniques their master focuses on. The judges will score the contestants. 1 point for attempting (but failing) at the technique, 2 for using the technique, 3 for using the technique very well. Additional point for each kill. So the point spread will be zero to 12 for each bout. The winner is the one with the most points at the end.

Caravan Guard Tournament: During Moonlight Madness, there will be a double elimination tournament, sponsored by the merchants. In order to participate, each fighter will have had to secured sponsorship from a participating merchant at the war. Each sponsoring merchant will donate a prize, each fighter will announce there sponsor an show the donated prize before the beginning of the tourney. All prizes will be distribute to the fighters based on placement in the tournament.

Melees

Rapier Grand Melee: We will run a number of grand melee scenarios (depending on amount of participants and time). This will include a warlord tourney and a three-person-team king of the hill.

Rapier Capture the Flag: We will divide all of the fighters into two teams. Each team will have a flag. Those killed will be sent to a “prison” which will get opened at regular intervals. If a flag holder is killed they must drop the flag where they are. If both flags are in a teams base then that team wins.

Saturday 

Melees

Rapier Native Forces: gather your allies and take sides in an all out melee battle to hold bragging rights for the next year. Bring your favorite toys (rbg’s, siege weapons etc..) and take a turn defending your kingdom (castle). This will be a limited resurrection battle. Don’t melee? You can still support your community by marshaling; the more the better.

Rapier Bridge Battles: After fighting on the open field, we’ll move and fight over a bridge. We’ll break up the teams in more interesting ways.

Rapier Kill the General: The last scenario will be an infinite res scenario (with an imposed delay on resurrection). Each team will have a general and if the general dies, the battle is lost. The general will be required to stay within a certain distance of the fighting (or else be executed by their king for cowardice on the field).

C&T Melees: all cut and thrust fighters with a minimum of TWO years of authorized experience are called to participate in the cut and thrust melee experiment. Multiple scenarios will be run based on participation as well as a group discussion about our experiences. Don’t do melees? We still need you to marshal or watch and share your experience as well!!!

TBA: fight with the Equestrians come out and participate with our mounted allies. now we still need to get times hammered out and info from the Equestrians.

Tournaments:
