NOVEMBER 6, 2021 Campus Notification: COVID-19

The university recently received notification of four (4) separate, unrelated individuals testing positive for COVID-19.

In the first case, the university was notified of the positive test on November 3.  Through contact tracing, the university learned yesterday that the individual may have been potentially infectious when last on campus on October 28 in the Murchie Science Building.

In the second case, an individual was last on campus on November 3 & 5 in the Murchie Science Building and November 5 in the Recreation Center. They may have been potentially infectious with the virus when on campus. The university was notified of the positive result on November 6.

In the third case, an individual was last on campus on November 3 & 5 in the William S. White  Building and November 5 in the Recreation Center. They may have been potentially infectious with the virus when on campus. The university was notified of the positive result on November 6.

In the fourth case, an individual was last on campus on November 3 in the William S. White  Building. They may have been potentially infectious with the virus when on campus. The university was notified of the positive result on November 6.

Contact tracing is being conducted and will continue in these cases. If anyone is identified as a “close contact” they will be contacted directly regarding any next steps.
