Kindergarten Kind Rocks

Sprinkling Kindness One Rock at a Time

WELCOME

Team 15 has joined the Kindness Rocks Project which inspired us to create our own project, Kindergarten Kind Rocks.  We will be starting the project locally and as we build our project, we will expand widely.  We are so happy that you are joining us in sprinkling kindness!

TO GET STARTED

Start collecting rocks!  We will need a lot of rocks as this is a project that will last all year.  Go on a rock hunt with your child. The rocks can be small or medium and they need to be round, smooth and flat. River rocks work best!  You can also purchase smooth river rocks from a home improvement store.  Then gather materials for painting the rocks.

 DON’T FORGET THE #

The Twitter hashtag #rockforkindness should be added to the back of each rock you drop, this will enable you to keep track of your kindness!  Later you can put the # into your social media search bar and possibly stumble upon posts from people who have found your rocks.  Cool Right?

SIGNED, SEALED, READY FOR DELIVERY

After the rocks are decorated and the # is added we will first seal them with modge podge clear spray and then we will use the UV Resistant Clear spray. This will protect the rocks from the elements and fading.  Once they are dry they are ready for delivery.  Be sure to ask for permission before dropping rocks in public places.

JOIN OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY
