Sealab 2021: (2000-2005) Created by Adam Reed and Matt Thompson - In the mid-1990s Thompson and Reed were heavily intoxicated while working on the show ‘High Noon Toons’, and were reprimanded at one point for lighting one of the prop sets on fire. During this time they stumbled on a tape of the show ‘Sealab 2020’, and wrote replacement dialogue. Five years after quitting Cartoon Network, the two went back to the original tape, this time making the characters do what they wanted and Cartoon Network bought the show for their new Adult Swim programming block. The warden's assistant, uptight Superjail accountant Jared, originally arrived at the jail as a prisoner but got his job after impressing the warden with his intelligence. Even the resident doctor gets in on the brutality of Superhail, for he regularly performs grotesque experiments on the inmates.
Tom Goes to the Mayor (2004-2006) Created by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim - Tom Peters recently moved to Jefferton and has several ideas to improve the small, rundown town. He has the attention of the mayor, who is receptive to the proposals and often endorses them. But the mayor usually tweaks Tom's ideas first, which makes them backfire with disastrous results, but Tom is usually left accountable for the subpar ideas the mayor implements.

Ponyo (2008) Directed by Hayao Miyazaki - During a forbidden excursion to see the surface world, a goldfish princess encounters a human boy named Sosuke, who gives her the name Ponyo. Ponyo longs to become human, and as her friendship with Sosuke grows, she becomes more humanlike. Ponyo's father brings her back to their ocean kingdom, but so strong is Ponyo's wish to live on the surface that she breaks free, and in the process, spills a collection of magical elixirs that endanger Sosuke's village.
