Thursday, October 3

Arrival until Departure

Explore everyday on your own. Horseback ride, fish, sit in your hot tub, among other things...it’s up to you. More information about area attractions you may want to visit coming soon.

11 AM to 5:00 PM

Registration at Hendrix Cabin, Leatherwood Mountains Resort, Ferguson, NC.  Includes an 18th-century welcome by the Overmountain Men, music by Bruce Wright on the Bagpipes, a Whiskey Tasting, and light North Carolina snacks along with a Fraser’s Ridge Photo Booth on the Cabin’s Back Porch, Scavenger Hunt begins

11 AM thru Friday

The 71st Highland Regiment, also known as Simon Fraser’s Highlanders, will be encamped at Leatherwood with demonstrations, exhibitions and other living history interpretations (encampment ongoing through Friday)

11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

  • Mrs. Bugg’s Midday Meal by Dawn Taylor Mathews, The Thankful Goat, served in 30 minute increments: 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30. You will be assigned a specific time to get in line for lunch. (Included in ticket price.)
