Student Clinics

Good afternoon,

We know that many families are anxious to get high school students vaccinated and have been trying to book appointments at clinics and pharmacies, as vaccination is an important step towards normalcy for our school and our community. We are excited to share that West Hartford Public Schools and the West Hartford/Bloomfield Health District have arranged for 650 vaccination appointments at UConn Health in Farmington for WHPS students who are age 16+. The clinic appointments are on April 21st and April 24th, and because there are limited spots there will be a signup system as walk-ins are not allowed. The Pfizer vaccine will be used at these clinics as it is currently the only one authorized for use for those aged 16+.

These clinics are ONLY for WHPS students aged 16+.

As there are limited appointments, the registration will be first come first served beginning tomorrow (Saturday 4/10) at noon. The registration will close Tuesday, 4/13 at noon to allow time for UConn to process and register the appointments in their tracking system.

To register for an appointment at these clinics:

We will share in the future if we get additional UConn clinics or availability.
