Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph. Monday: I can draw a picture graph or a bar graph to represent data. View Mr.W’s Math challenge video. This week students will create either a bar graph or a picture graph to represent items from home. They will take a picture to send to me. This project will be due on Friday. Tuesday: I can collect data in a survey and record that data in a tally chart. Students will view the Brainpop jr video “Tally Charts and Bar graphs”. Students will write an opinion paragraph using the information on their organizer. They will take a photo to send to me. Thursday: I can revise and strengthen an opinion piece. Students will use a rubric to review their opinion writing. They will revise and strengthen, making sure they have all the parts. Friday: I can read and enjoy a book at my level.
