Is the app Free or Paid?
There is a free forever plan that allows you to listen to one soundscape. To unlock all the currently available Soundscapes and those that will be added in the future you can purchase a subscription.
How do I know if I am on the Free Forever plan or on a subscription?
You are on the Free Forever plan if some of the soundscapes have a lock icon on the right. If you do not see any lock icons and are able to select different durations for the timer you have an active subscription.
How can I cancel my Subsciption?
To cancel your trial or subscription go to the Settings tab and press “Manage Subscriptions” then press the “Cancel Subsciption” button at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date. Or you can follow the instructions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.
I’ve updated my app and my previous in-app purchase doesn’t work anymore.
To restore your previous purchase go to Settings -> Restore Purchases -> Restore. Then restart your iPhone or iPad to ensure the purchase is fully restored.
I got a new iPhone/iPad. How do I restore my previous In-App Purchases or Subsciption?
To restore your previous purchase open the app on the new device and go to Settings -> Restore Purchases -> Restore. Then restart your iPhone or iPad to ensure the purchase is fully restored.
Can I use the app on multiple devices (i.e both iPhone and iPad)?
Yes, after downloading the app onto your other device. Open the App, go to Settings -> Restore Purchases -> Restore. Then restart your iPhone or iPad to ensure the purchase is fully restored. Both devices must have the same Apple ID.
I purchased a subscription but the features are not activated?
Ensure you are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. Restart your phone. Open the App, go the Settings -> Restore Purchases -> Restore.
Does the app work offline or in Airplane mode?
Yes. The app will play sounds offline or in Airplane mode. If you want to use AirPlay to play over an external speaker you will need to enable Wi-Fi. Alternatively, the App will play over Bluetooth.
Does the app play in the background while the screen is locked?
Yes. The app will continue playing sounds while in the background while the screen is locked and turn itself off when the timer expires (unless the timer is turned off).
What happens when I receive a phone call while the app is playing?
If you receive a phone call, the app will pause the sounds and it will resume playing them after the phone call has ended.
How can I prevent alerts, notifications, emails, text messages or phone calls from interrupting the audio playback?
There are three options to help silence the beeps and squeaks of your phone’s notifications.
