Guidelines to Club Discipline

As a member of Berwick Rangers Juniors Football Club, all players, parents/carers, spectators, managers/coaches, and Committee members must adhere to the Club's Respect Codes of Conduct and Policies.

The Club has an obligation to investigate any breaches of these Codes of Conduct/policies by any of the above individuals. Club discipline cases will be dealt with by our Club Committee using the following guidelines.

All Club discipline cases will be dealt with in a confidential manner.
The Committee will endeavour to listen to all accounts and, if necessary, take written statements and seek witness testimonies in order to reach a successful outcome.
If a breach of Codes of Conduct/Policy is proven, the following sanctions may be used by the committee:

There will be a right to appeal; this must be received by the committee in writing no later than 7 days following the original decision. Any decision arising from an appeal is deemed final.

The Club will, where necessary, take advice from the FA or Leagues.

The Club will, where necessary, report a discipline case to the FA or Leagues. This may lead to further sanctions being imposed.

As a member of Berwick Rangers Juniors Football Club, all players, parents/carers, spectators, managers/coaches, and Committee members must also adhere to the individual Leagues’ and FA's Codes of Conduct and Policies. Please be aware that where disciplinary action is taken against an individual by the FA or League, we are bound by their decision.
