Mount Holyoke Club of Northern California
2021-2022 Board of Directors
President Marija formerly served on the Board as Membership Chair where she focused on growing the active member base. As President, she welcomes suggestions regarding how the club can best serve its membership. While at Mount Holyoke, Marija studied architecture, philosophy, and was on the Mount Holyoke College Dressage Team. She is a professional dressage trainer in Wine Country and lives in San Francisco. As a Northern California native, she hopes to further initiatives to be inclusive of alums across our entire region, not just the Bay Area. Her first love, her horse George, occupies her free time. When not cuddling with George, she looks forward to supporting the efforts and interests of alums to engage with one another, building a more connected network in the Northern California area.

Communications Chair Hannah (she/her) is thrilled to be a part of the NorCal Board. She has served in various roles over the years and is looking forward to connecting with even more alums in 2021-2022 as Communications Chair. A freelance writer and content strategist with an MFA in Creative Writing, Hannah works on most of her projects late at night when her two young daughters are in bed. When she’s not writing, you might find Hannah reading, packing bento box lunches for her kids, and adventuring around the Bay Area.
Recent Alum Chair An Oakland native, Olivia is excited to welcome alums new to California and the Bay Area and help them adjust and learn about this community. Olivia wants to connect with and help build community among alums from different walks of life. While at Mount Holyoke, Olivia was deeply involved in student organizations such as the Class Board and Association of Pan-African Unity, leading various community-building initiatives. Working in the MHC Admissions Office as a Diversity Outreach Fellow helped her develop skills that she wants to use to coordinate recent alum events. Olivia would like to encourage more recent alums, especially those of color, to become involved with the Board and participate in Club events. She looks forward to networking and to sharing her academic and professional post-grad experiences with current students and recent alums.
