“How would the population deal with the practice of existing nations to either annex or destroy new country projects?”

“This is perhaps one of the most important questions. The answer is in 2 parts:

1: LEGAL JURISDICTION

We will be outside their legal jurisdiction (according to the UNCLOS they signed). All other seasteads that governments seized were INSIDE their jurisdiction. Those countries could not directly attack us without essentially declaring war.

BUT... countries DO declare war, so this leads to the 2nd part:

2: ENCOURAGE PEACE

This is the most difficult part: We will discourage foreign nations' military actions against us through a 3-part approach which we have listed on our website devoted to this subject: https://freedomhaven.org/faq/#FAQ_PiratesCartelsNavies

Summary:

DIPLOMACY: Keep up good relationships
VISIBILITY: Let the world see anything other countries do to us
OPEN TRADE: Being an ally in trade discourages being an enemy in war.

The Freedom Haven Constitution’s definition of Force:

FORCE (or COMPULSION/COERCION) is defined as taking/destroying or threatening to take/destroy someone else's Life, Freedom, and/or Property. Force is a crime unless it can be proven that it was not greater than the minimal force needed for Self-Defense.
