Completed 21-22 - The District website (www.rrcs.org) was updated daily with news, stories, events, information, photos and videos to highlight district accomplishments of students and staff.
- The District website was scanned to ensure it complies with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Items found not in compliance were updated.
- The District website received more than 1.2 million page views during the 2021-2022 academic year.
- A mobile app was launched and is available for download on the Apple Store and Google Play.

- A bi-annual newsletter was mailed to all homes in the community (January and July).
- District achievements were highlighted on social media platforms. The @RrCitySchools Twitter account received more than 950,000 impressions and the @RrCitySchools Instagram account received more than 30,000 likes and video views.
- Videos were produced about each school in the district to highlight the offerings and resources in each building.
- A parent/guardian survey was distributed in June of 2022 to elicit feedback. An executive summary of the survey was shared and posted online.

Completed 21-22 - Procured additional federal and state grant funding made available through additional state and federal programs, and obtained a grant from the Rocky River Education Foundation to purchase a portion of CleverTouch boards needed to upgrade the district’s instructional technology.

Result #2 Operational efficiencies and cost-containment measures are instituted, based on industry standards and benchmarks, to optimize resources for District programs.
Completed 21-22 - Completed an advanced refunding (refinancing) of $12,410,000 of the outstanding Series 2014 refunding bonds. The refunding was undertaken to reduce total debt service requirements by $1,270,106 resulting in an economic gain of $931,694. Partially as a result of this refinancing, the District was able to reduce debt service property tax millage by 1 full mill effective January of 2022. These actions will result in both short and long term savings to taxpayers.
- Entered into a new banking relationship that will reduce bank fees by approximately $18,000 per year.
- Agreed to contract extensions with all employee groups at a 1% base increase for FY 22, which was lower than the average market increase.
