Trans Lifeline: provides microgrants for a variety of gender-affirming services. Currently on hold.
Trans Lifeline Resource List: an extended resource list of financial support options; not all resources have been researched or looked into by BTC.
Local:
Eve Devitt Travel Fund: will pay costs associated with traveling out of state for gender-affirming care, including gas, airfare, lodging, childcare, and per-diem cash for Idaho's trans and non-binary kids and their families.
Imperial Sovereign Gem Court of Idaho: The Imperial Sovereign Gem Court of all of Idaho is proud to offer financial assistance to community members in need. We provide monetary assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS for various expenses, transgender and non-binary Idahoans for costs associated with name and gender marker changes, and scholarships for LGBTQ+ Idahoans seeking educational advancement.
Local clinics that provide HRT such as Full Circle Health and Planned Parenthood usually have sliding scale options when it comes to paying for appointments.
When paying for medications, make sure to check out prescription coupon sites like GoodRx and NeedyMeds, and talk to your pharmacists about manufacturer coupons/other discounts they know of to get the best price on your meds.
Look into and learn about DIY HRT, as it’s often much cheaper over time.
