Compact Fecal Pumping Units

Description

The Piranhamat models are compact fecal pumping units for direct connection of one toilet in accordance with EN 12050-3. These ready-to-plug-in units, with a gas- and odor-tight polyethylene tank, can also be connected to a hand wash basin, shower, or bidet.

• Ready-for-use unit featuring a powerful Piranha grinder pump controlled automatically by the built-in level control system
• Thoroughly cuts up waste, making it possible to pump through 25 mm (1") pipes
• Push-on, self-sealing connection for a toilet at the rear of the unit. Additional ports at the sides for connecting on hand wash basin, shower, or bidet
• Discharge pipe for connection to either the left or right side of the unit, according to installation requirements
• Non-return flap valve on the discharge line
• Modern gas- and odour-tight white plastic tank of high quality polyethylene material, resistant to all common toilet cleaning fluids
• Maximum allowable temperature of the medium is 40 °C; or up to 60 °C for max five minutes.

The Piranha pump itself is fitted with a special shredding device that reduces the medium to a size that can easily be pumped through a small bore pipe system of a size from 25 mm diameter. This ensures

blockage-free disposal of faecal matter, toilet paper of various thicknesses, and also sanitary articles which might be accidentally dropped into the toilet.

Please note, attention to the backwash level is of vital importance for effective dewatering. All outflow points located below the backwash level must be protected against back flow according to standard

EN 12056. In the case of power failure; by driving the rotor shaft with an electric drill the hydraulic system of the Piranhamat will be operated and the tank emptied. Where usage is by members of the public and cannot be monitored, or where more effluent sources are to be connected, installation of the Sanimat series is recommended instead.
