Position Details
Estimated: $12 - $25 an hour including tips
Hours per week:15-30
Position Description Summary
Facilitate visitor enjoyment by performing a variety of customer service duties including, but not limited to, greeting and serving customers, providing education about our beer and other products we carry, operating the draft beer and point of sale systems, restocking merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of bar facilities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (additional duties may be assigned)
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors.
- Interact with visitors to develop and maintain a favorable public image.
- Know and understand the fundamentals of our beers and willingness to learn.
- Understand and process orders and payments on our point of sale (POS) system.
- Work as a team with other staff to ensure a smooth and successful working environment.
- Immediately report any guest concerns to the manager or owner(s).
- Complete all necessary side work for each shift as determined by your shift manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Completes all established set-up, opening and closing duties in a timely manner
- Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines and follows all safety policies
- Able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to be a strong team player and get along well with co-workers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Perform opening duties and closing duties, cleaning, and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Bus tables, remove and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Clean and store glassware as directed.
- Provide high quality customer care.
- Promote other items we offer for sale .
- Complete all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations in full and as directed.
- Compile daily receipts and other paperwork per POS procedure for processing.
- Maintain comfort & cleanliness throughout the taproom, storage areas, cooler, office, and restrooms.
- Ensure the taproom, bar and bar area, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards at all times.
- Report all equipment problems, bar maintenance issues, violations or substandard practices to your supervisor immediately upon encountering a problem.
- Attend staff meetings, events and other functions required.
- Promote good public relations and appropriately handle complaints and concerns of guests.
- Assist with inventory procedures. Alert supervisor about shortages or discrepancies.
- Minimize waste by ensuring all sales go through the POS system properly and the draft systems are operating optimally at all times.
- Collect payment for all sales.
- Greet and serve visitors in a positive and friendly way. Greet everyone who visits the taproom with hello and goodbye. Treat everyone like a regular.
- Answer questions and educate guests about Amicus Brewing Ventures, our beers and other products, the differences between beer styles as well as the history and culture around us and craft beer in general.
