Things to keep in mind:
- If you plan on using rideshare (Uber/Lyft/taxi), here are the exact addresses for the venue and hotel

- Sunday Venue: Manhattan Beach - 1101-1123 N The Strand Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
- Hotel: Doubletree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown 120 S Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
- If you want to use rideshare but don't want to pay that much, feel free to use the regional group chats to coordinate rides with attendees whose flights arrive around the same time.
How to Pay for Public Transportation
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the Metro (i.e. Trains, Buses). Here's what you do:
- First, you must download the TAP app, which lists all of the schedules and arrival times.

- The metro rail will cost about $1.75 to get on, and it is a fixed cost, no matter how far you go, with two hours of free transfers.
- You must have an exact change since the operator cannot make change.

- The buses also cost $1.75 to get on, which is a fixed cost regardless of how far you go.

- Getting a TAP card:
- TAP cards are recommended since they are the easiest way to pay for rides.
- You can purchase your TAP key card from tap vending machines, your wallet app, or taptogo.net.

- Select the “Transit Card” option.

Los Angeles International Airport to St. Anne’s Conference Center (Venue)
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the Metro (i.e. Trains, Buses). Here's what you do:
- Navigate to the Lower Level of your current terminal and board the LAX Shuttle Metro Connector GL bus.
- Exit bus at Aviation Blvd. Green Line Station.
- Walk 2 minutes to the Aviation/LAX Station.
- Board the Metro C Line Train headed Eastbound - Southbound to Norwalk.
- Ride the train for 4 stops.
- Exit the train at the Harbor Freeway stop and follow signs to transfer to Metro J Line (Silver) 910/950.
- Board the Metro J Line (Silver) 910/950 going Northbound toward El Monte Station.
- Ride the bus for 12 stops.
- Exit the bus at the Olive/Th. Kosciuszko Wy, stop.
- Walk 100 feet to the Olive & General Thaddeus Kosciuszko stop.
- Board the Metro Local 14/37 bus headed Westbound toward Beverly Center.
- Ride the bus for 7 stops and exit at the Beverly & Benton stop.

St. Anne’s Conference Center (Venue) to Los Angeles International Airport
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the Metro (i.e. Trains, Buses). Here's what you do:
- Walk 5 minutes to the Beverly & Benton stop and board the Metro Local 14/37 bus going Eastbound toward Washington Fairfax Transit Hub.
- Ride the bus for 8 stops and exit at the Grand & 3rd stop.
- Walk 150 feet to the Grand Ave & 3rd St stop and board the Torrance Transit Line 4X bus going Southbound toward Torrance.
- Ride the bus for 11 stops and exit the bus at the Harbor Transitway & Harbor Freeway Station.
- Walk 70 feet to the Harbor Freeway Station and board the Metro C Line train going westbound and northbound toward Aviation/Century.
- Ride the bus for 4 stops and exit the train at the Aviation/LAX stop.
- Walk 200 feet to the Aviation Blvd. Green Line Station and board the LAX Shuttle Metro Connector GL bus going toward the G Shuttle to LAX Terminals.
- Ride the bus for 8 stops and exit at the G Shuttle Stop at your desired terminal.
- Navigate to the Lower Level of your current terminal and board the LAX Shuttle Metro Connector GL bus.
- You have arrived at the airport!
Los Angeles International Airport to DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown (Hotel)
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the Metro (i.e., Trains and buses). Here's what you do:
- Navigate to Terminal 7 Lower Level and board the LAX Flyaway bus toward Union Station Flyaway & Patsaouras.
- Ride the bus for one stop and exit at the Union Station Flyaway & Patsaouras Bus Plaza stop.
- Walk 200 feet to Union Station and board the Metro A Line train going Southbound toward Long Beach.
- Ride the train for 2 stops and exit at the Historic Broadway stop.

- Walk 500 feet to the Los Angeles & 1st stop and board the Metro Local 40 bus going Northbound toward Downtown LA/Union Station.
- Ride the bus for 5 stops and exit the bus at the Patsaouras Transit Plaza stop.
- Walk 250 feet to Union Station Flyaway & Patsaouras Bus Plaza and board the LAX Flyaway bus toward Los Angeles International Airport.
- Ride the bus for 1 stop and exit the bus at Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 1.
- You have arrived at the airport!
Amtrak Los Angeles Train Station to St. Anne’s Conference Center (Venue)
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the Metro (i.e. Trains and buses). Here's what you do:
- Exit the station and board the Metro B Line train going Westbound toward North Hollywood.
- Ride the train for 6 stops and exit at the Vermont/Beverly stop.
- Walk 200 feet to the Beverly & Beverly stop and board the Metro Local 14/37 bus going Eastbound toward Washington Fairfax Transit Hub.
- Ride the bus for 4 stops and exit at the Beverly & Reno stop.

St. Anne’s Conference Center (Venue) to Amtrak Los Angeles Train Station
The most cost-effective way (and given traffic, sometimes faster) is to take the SEPTA (i.e., Trains, Trolleys, and buses). Here's what you do:
- Walk about 5 minutes to the Beverly & Benton stop and board the Metro Local 14/37 bus going Eastbound toward Washington Fairfax Transit.
- Ride the bus for 6 stops and exit at the 1st & Hope stop.
- Walk 800 feet to the Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill Station and board the Metro A Line train going Northbound toward Azusa.
- Ride the train for 3 stops and exit the train at the Union Station stop.
- You have arrived at the Amtrak Station!
Amtrak Los Angeles Train Station to DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown (Hotel)

- Exit the station and board the Metro A Line train going Southbound toward Long Beach.
- Ride the train for 1 stop and exit at the Little Tokyo/Arts District stop.

- Ride the bus for 15 stops and exit at the Hill & 1st stop.

- Walk 12 minutes to the Olive & General Thaddeus Kosciuszko stop and board the Metro Local 14/37 bus going Westbound toward Beverly Center.
- Ride the bus for 7 stops and exit at the Beverly & Benton stop.

Metro A Line “Historic Broadway” stop to DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown
- Exit the bus, and keep going straight on W 2nd St for 2.5 blocks.
- Take a left on S Los Angeles St.
- The DoubleTree by Hilton should be right there.
Metro Local 14/37 “Beverly & Reno” stop at St. Anne’s Conference Center
- Exit the bus and go straight to Beverly Blvd for approximately 2 blocks.
- Take a left onto N Occidental Blvd.
- Walk straight for approximately a block, and turn left.
- The St. Anne’s Conference Center should be right there.
Metro A Line “Little Tokyo/Arts District” stop to DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown
- Exit the station, and take a left onto E 1st St.
- Keep walking straight on E 1st St for approximately 2 blocks.
- Take a left on S Los Angeles St.
- The DoubleTree by Hilton should be half a block away from there.
Metro Local 10/48 “Hill & 1st” stop to DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown
- Exit the bus and go straight to N Hill St for approximately half a block.
- Take a left onto W 1st St and walk straight on W 1st St for approximately 4 blocks.
- Take a right onto S Los Angeles St and walk straight for approximately half a block.
- The DoubleTree by Hilton should be right there.
