EXAMINING EVIL'S NATURE:
MY DRACULA ANALYSIS...
"For the blood is the life."
A novel about the essence of the diabolic & depraved: archetypal evil. That is, the villain's both brute and child-like instinctive, parasitic grab for power for power's sake. An extreme narcissist, ego absorbed, and materially focused, feeding off of others, while possessing great psychic powers, without any transcendental awareness, thus void of a true self (or soul), with no meaning or purpose beyond his immediate, base survival.

ANTIDOTE: collaborative purpose,
true to higher self, beyond short-term ego:
“Well, you know what we have to contend against; but we, too, are not without strength. We have on our side power of combination— a power denied to the vampire kind… We have self-devotion in a cause, and an end to achieve which is not a selfish one. These things are much.”
