Our task:

Make two different shapes, using the unifix cubes, that have an area of:

1.  24 cm squared

What is the perimeter of each shape?  20cm and 38cm

2. 32 cm squared

(Insert photos of your two different shapes)

What is the perimeter of each shape? 24cm and 26cm

What have you learnt about the perimeter and area of shapes?

 The area can be the same, even if the shape changes.
