Instructions for completing the AP Audit with the Code.org Syllabus for the 2018-19 school year

To get started: Log into your AP Course Audit Account at account.collegeboard.org/login/login.

You can also create an account on that page if you don’t already have one.

Step 1: Once you have logged into your account, select “+ Add Course”

Step 2: Choose “Computer Science Principles” from the dropdown list in the pop-up window. Click “Continue”.

Step 3: A new pop-up window will appear asking if you want to add AP Computer Science Principles at your high school. Select “Add Course”

Step 4: Now that you’ve added Computer Science Principles as a course, you will move on to complete your Course Audit Form.

You will need to do this before being able to submit the Code.org pre-approved syllabus.

Step 5: Complete the Course Audit Form and submit for administrator approval via the button at the bottom of the page.

 

Step 6: Next, you will submit the Code.org pre-approved syllabus to the Course Audit. Click “Submit Syllabus”.

Step 7:  Select “Adopt Sample Syllabus”

Step 8: Select “Sample Syllabus 6 - Code.org”

 

Step 9: First, click “Download Syllabus”.

Once the Syllabus is downloaded, click “Adopt Syllabus”

Step 10: Congratulations — you’ve successfully added the Code.org pre-approved AP CS Principles syllabus via the audit system. Your school administrator will need to take action in order to complete the audit process.
