a.       Meat Raffle – Nakia Franklin

·         The tentative date is scheduled for March 8, 2024 at the Hertel Campus.  We will be using Fun Meat Raffles to coordinate.  Doors open at 6:00 PM.  Her fee is $400, plus the cost of the meat.  Tickets will be $10 admission, $15 for admission & 1 drink ticket, or $80 for a table of 1, includes one drink ticket per person at the table.

·         There will be 12 auction rounds, each round there will be 3-5 spins and a grand raffle.  Each round is $2 or $30, the finale is 1/$5 or $3/10.

·         They can add a seafood round, or offer non meat items, such as frozen pizza logs, mozzarella sticks, etc.

·         There will be a “bank” so runners are not handling cash, people would exchange their cash for a “EVCS buck” which will be used to purchase raffle tickets.

·         In addition to the meat raffle we will also host a basket raffle.  We will request basket donations from each grade from each school.

·         We will need 1 volunteer per table, 2 people to run the bank, 2 for drinks, 1 for snacks, and 2 for the basket raffle.

·         Proceeds from the meat/basket raffle will be split between the Days Park & Hertel CA to be used for future programming and activities.

·         Trunk or Treat at EVCS-Hertel

·         This event is planned for October 28 at EVCS Hertel Campus.

·         We will need volunteers to help with the actual event as well as people to host a trunk.

·         More details will be discussed during the joint CA meeting on October 4.

b.      Can Drive last year raised ~$300

·         We plan to do this again in the mid fall, proceeds will go to the Days Park CA for programming & activities.   More details to follow.

c.       Becker Farms pies

·         We are looking into the possibility of hosting a pie sale around Thanksgiving time.

·         Jourdan reached out to Becker Farms to inquire about pricing and is waiting to hear back.

·         We will need to consider where we will store the frozen pies prior to delivery to purchasers.

·         More details will be discussed over email or at our next meeting.
