Q: How do I indicate my elective preferences?

A:  Please visit the RJF Website-Elective's Information page

Q:  Can rising 7th grade students take language for high school credit?

A:  No.  However, for our rising 8th graders, we are continuing to offer a “Full Year” language course equivalent to high school Spanish I and French I.

Q:  Can rising 6th and 7th grade students take more than one elective?

A:  No.  6th and 7th grade students may not take more than one elective at this time.  

Q:  Can rising 8th grade students choose to take a double elective in a combination other than Music and World Language?

A:  No.  

Q: If my child takes a world language in 8th grade, do the units count for high school graduation/diploma?

A: No.  The course counts to advance to the next level language course, but the units will not count for credit toward a high school diploma.

Q: Would it be possible for my student to shadow a class?

A:  No.  Students are not able to shadow classes.

Q: When are the advanced dance auditions for the 25-26 school year?

A:  Registration is due 3/16.  Auditions are 3/19 @ 2:00 p..m.    Please go to this link to register. This link  provides additional information.
