Course Description

Description: Science is a year-long course.

7th graders study chemistry, earth science, energy, and reproduction.

8th graders student force & motion, waves

7th grade science students study chemistry, geology, energy, and reproduction.

Coursework

Curriculum: Lab-Aids/Lawrence Hall of Science SEPUP. This is available through Clever in student accounts.

When applicable, links will be posted in each class’s Google Classroom page.

Grading

  • Grading breakdown:
  • 50% assessments
  • 25% labs
  • 25% classwork

Materials

  • Pencil
  • One 70-page Spiral notebook (to be left in class)
  • You may need colored pencils, scissors, glue stick, ruler. I have some of these to share, but if students take them or mistreat them, they will no longer be available.
