Kia ora our names are Georgia, Dylan, Sylvia, Tara, Ava and Koby from Tūhono.  Our current W.I.T (Wildly Important Task) is to carry out a kaitiaki project.

We have chosen to reduce air pollution around our Frankley School environment. We want to decrease the number of cars coming down the hill to school.

On Wednesday 17th October (Week 1,Term 4) there will be the launch of our first ever “Walking Wednesday”.  All you need to do is walk, scooter, bike or skate to school. This will continue for all of Term 4.

You can get dropped off at the top of the hill or bush track and walk if you live too far away.

We will be watching at the school gate and bush track where there will be spot prizes and a special treat for everyone who gets involved.

If you have any questions, please email sylvial@frankley.school.nz or georgiaf@frankley.school.nz.
