Mrs. Ciampa 3D: At-Home Learning Information
Students in Grade 3 are to be doing 5 hours a week of At-Home Learning (total Math, Language, and French). This schedule does not fill the 5 hours a week expectation because it does not include French, which will be provided by Mme. Gavan.
Last week, I shared with the students a Workspace called: Structures Research Project & Commercial - Copy. For students who have completed it, you can move on to the *new Workspace that I created titled: At-Home Learning For Mrs. Ciampa's Class (3D). Each week I will be updating this Workspace with new suggested activities for your child to work on. The workspace is organized by different sections titled Math and Language. Within the sections I have provided 4 columns: (Messages, Resources/Information, Your Work and Extra Stuff). Scroll down and you will see each section and column. Additionally, I will add optional activities that students can work on featuring science, religion, health or other subjects of interest. Please continue to check our class Twitter and Blog for up to date resources and announcements on what you will find on the Workspace.
*Workspace is on the Student Portal. Have students log into their @ocsbstudent email to find Workspace and the work for our class. This Workspace guide is helpful:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DF5CHwAa3prnX1QJNS0gKYBN_TTwAM4T/view
FYI: I have scheduled our next Google Meet for Wednesday April 8th @ 1:00pm. **Have your child accept the invitation in their @ocsbstudent emails.**
Any questions, please let me know!
Week of April 6-10
Science/Language | Finish working on the writing portion of your Science Structure Research Project found on last week’s Workspace. The writing portion can be done on Book Creator or Google Slides as stated on the Workspace. |
Math | 3D Shapes Final Task on Workspace. Check the *new Workspace for the task that will replace the 3D Quiz we were planning to have in class. |
Language/Religion | Watch the Holy Week videos to learn more about what happened to Jesus leading up to Easter. Write: reflect what happened to Jesus during Holy Week. Read on Raz Kids: I left some messages for students who have been reading the past few weeks. Don’t forget to focus on Level Up books (books at your instructional level). |
