Installing an app iPhone (iOS) and Android smartphones:

iPhone (iOS)

1. Open the App Store - Locate and tap on the "App Store" icon on your iPhone's home screen. The App Store icon looks like a blue "A" made out of a pencil, paintbrush, and ruler.

2. Search for the App - Tap on the "Search" tab at the bottom of the screen, then use the search bar at the top to search for the app you want to install.

3. Select the App - Once you find the app you want to install, tap on its icon to open its App Store page.

4. Install the App - On the app's page, tap on the "Get" or "Install" button (the button will display "Get" if it's a free app or the app's price if it's a paid app). You may be prompted to enter your Apple ID password or use Touch ID/Face ID to confirm the installation.

5. Wait for Installation - The app will begin downloading and installing on your iPhone. Once the installation is complete, the app's icon will appear on your home screen.

Android

1. Open Google Play Store - Locate and tap on the "Google Play Store" icon on your Android device's home screen or app drawer. The Google Play Store icon typically looks like a multicolored triangle.

2. Search for the App - Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen and type the name of the app you want to install.

3. Select the App - Once you find the app you want to install, tap on its icon to open its Google Play Store page.

4. Install the App - On the app's page, tap on the "Install" button. If the app is free, the button will display "Install." If it's a paid app, it will display the app's price. You may be prompted to review the app's permissions before proceeding.

5. Accept Permissions and Install - After reviewing the permissions, tap on "Accept" or "Allow" to grant the necessary permissions, then tap on "Install." The app will begin downloading and installing on your Android device.

6. Wait for Installation - Once the installation is complete, the app's icon will appear on your home screen or in the app drawer, depending on your device's settings.
