Which tool would you use to measure the length of a car?  Would you use a ruler, a meter (or yard) stick or a tape measure?  Explain your thinking.  Would your answer change if the car was a toy car?  What tool would you use and why? (Remember a ruler measures inches, centimeters and feet.)
