Morgan Daniel

Morgan Daniel has been writing and playing music on the Mendocino

Coast since his high school garage-band days in the 80s. The electric-

centric 80s then gave way to a couple of decades of acoustic music as his

interest in bluegrass and folk-Americana developed. He is a founding

member of the (mostly) acoustic band, ‘Foxglove’, (along with fellow

‘New Nashville Westerner’, John Bush).

When Morgan’s not playing the guitar he may be found making or

repairing one in his home-based lutherie shop which he has been

operating since 2007.

About 10 years ago, in his capacity as a luthier, Morgan became

involved in some of Gene’s guitar work, and thus began his journey into

the world of string-bending and a return to his electric guitar roots--

although this time as a member of ‘New Nashville West’, with a bit

more twang!
