The 4th Annual Spring College Fair is on Wednesday, April 11th, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at RWJ Barnabas Health Arena (Formerly the Pine Belt Arena) @ Toms River HS North. Over 100 Colleges and Technical Schools, plus the Military will be represented! Its free and all are welcome.  Also, there is a Financial Aid Workshop from 5:30 -6:30 pm in the North Auditorium.  See Guidance for more information.

Attention Students! The College and Career Connection Committee is hosting an interview skill workshop on Monday, March 19th in the Lecture Hall after school.  A Berkeley College representative will be discussing how to present yourself in a positive and professional manner during an interview.  All students are welcome to attend.

ATTENTION RAIDERS!!!  So..you wanna be a DJ?! Well here’s what you’ve gotta do for the chance to take over our airwaves: On Monday, come down to the Main Office and put your name and song choice into the box. You can enter as an individual or as a group of up to 3 people. If your name gets picked you’ll have the chance to DJ in between periods on Friday.  ONLY ONE CATCH!  You and you group need to be in attendance on Monday and Friday.  This contest will be held during the month of March.  Good Luck, and have Fun!

Want to wear a HAT in school?  Want to wear a HAT in school AND donate to a good cause?  The EAST AMBASSADORS are sponsoring HAT DAY on Friday, March 23rd.   Donate $1 and wear a hat! (school appropriate)  Ambassadors will be greeting students in the Student Center Lobby before period 1 for a sticker. Donations will be going to the Baker’s League.  STICKER MUST BE VISIBLE AND WORN ALL DAY!!!

The EAST AMBASSADORS are also sponsoring an EASTER FOOD DRIVE for families in need.  We are collecting items to put together EASTER BASKETS.  Peanut free wrapped candy, small baskets, Easter grass, cellophane, and gift cards are some of the items needed.  The homeroom that brings in the most donations will get a bagel party, compliments of the Ambassadors.  The drive will run from Monday, March 19 thru Friday, March 23rd. See Miss Schultz with questions.

ANY STUDENT WITH PERFECT ATTENDANCE FOR THE MONTH of March WILL BE PLACED IN A DRAWING FOR AWESOME PRIZES!! 

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2021!!  We are looking for a CLASS SLOGAN.  Please submit your design by March 23rd to Ms. Regad in E31.  The winner will be announced March 29th at Dairy Queen, and will win a free T-Shirt!

The time has come again for High School East’s Autism Academy to raise some money for our  special prom.  We will be selling shirts to support our program for the next two weeks.  Please check our our new designs!  Order forms are on the wall outside M08, E14A and CST. Need a little help with your college entrance essays?  Having difficulty with that research paper? Or would you just like another set of eyes to proofread your assignments?  The WRITING CENTER provides tutors to help with all types of writing assignments.  The WRITING CENTER is now open every Tuesday and Thursday after school in W20.  Ask your English Teacher for further details. – Schindler

        AUCTION.  Any donations can be dropped off in W20 or the Main Office Copy

The Key Club is having a PANERA BREAD fundraiser on Monday March 19th from 6-9pm. No flyer needed just come in and enjoy a delicious dinner!! Take out/Carry out/Drive through applies!

The Key Club and Habitat for Humanity Clubs are selling coupon books for $25. They have great coupons including several fast food restaurants, Olive Garden, Friday's, Dick;s Sporting Goods, H&M, Sky Zone, Great Adventure and MANY more. See a Key Club, Habitat for Humanity Member, Mrs. Weinberger or Ms. Calhoun for a book! 

The MARINE SCIENCE CLUB will have its 1st meeting Wednesday, March 21st in E31 after School.  Any questions, please see Ms. Regad in E31.

THE HIGH SCHOOL EAST BIBLE CLUB:  Interested in studying the Bible with fellow students at High School East?  Then join the Bible Club.  This a club run by students.  All topics from the Bible for teaching and discussion are chosen by students.  All teaching is done by students.  All discussions are led by students.  Interested?  The Bible Club meets every Monday after school in the Media Center.
