Class Hours Card: ^ A Class Hours Card may be used for teen|ADULT on-going classes on this schedule and will be kept on file and dated for each class attended. Cards may be purchased at Dance Spectrum (age 18 or older).

Class Hours deducted is based on the full amount of time of the class as scheduled and can not be prorated for any reason. Class Hours cards do not expire. See Dance Spectrum Tuition Policies and Policies|Guidelines for more information.

Student Placement: This schedule is open to select Teen dancers ages 13+ through Adult dancers in Beginning through Professional level. Select youth dancers ages 18 or younger may be placed in teen|ADULT classes by invitation from Director and/or Instructor. All minors must be registered as YOUTH, even if they are attending teen|ADULT classes.

 All teen|ADULT classes are ongoing.  Dance Spectrum reserves the right to substitute instructors when necessary and to cancel any class due to insufficient attendance or inclement weather. Schedule and Fees are subject to change without notice.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Dance Spectrum is located on the corner of Grand Avenue and Chatsworth Street. Free parking is available in lot behind the building or on-street parking. Entrance is under black & white striped awning on Chatsworth. All classes are taught by qualified, professional instructors and are quality driven towards excellence in dance art. Teaching staff biographies may be furnished from the school.  New/Returning students ages 2-18 must enroll in classes on seasonal youth schedules. New/Returning teen through adult students, Beginning through Advanced/Professional levels of dance are welcome to attend ongoing classes throughout the year on the teen|Adult Schedule. MILITARY DEPENDENTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Dance Spectrum offers tuition scholarships for students ages 2-18 whose parent or guardian is on active military duty and serving abroad at time of enrollment. Please email hello@spectrumdancemn.com for more information.

PAYMENT METHODS: Dance Spectrum accepts payment in Cash, Check, or Credit/Debit Card (Visa or MasterCard only).

DANCE ATTIRE / SHOES:  Dancewear such as leotards and tights may be available for purchase through Dance Spectrum.  A limited stock of Tap, Ballet, and Jazz shoes may be borrowed through the school for new students. A variety of shoe styles are available for order through Dance Spectrum.

SCHOOL YEAR DRESS CODE-Dance Spectrum prefers that all students are appropriately dressed for class.

JAZZ/CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL: Leotard, tights, jazz pants, and modest dance tops or form fitting T-Shirts are acceptable. SHOES: Jazz shoes, dance sneakers. Use of dance “paws” or like style footwear, socks, or bare feet is at the risk and discretion of each dancer.

TAP: Leggings, stretch pants or athletic-style shorts may be worn with leotard, modest dance tops, or t-shirts. Anklet or crew style socks may feel most comfortable in tap shoes. SHOES: All students are required to use tap shoes for class. Low heeled tap shoes are recommended for all students for balance and clarity of sound. A limited supply of “studio” tap shoes is available for students to use for initial Beginning Level tap classes. Students who borrow shoes must leave a security deposit in the form of a State Issued ID or Credit Card at the front desk for the duration of the class.

BALLET: Ladies~ Traditional ballet attire for ladies includes a leotard, tights, optional skirt, and optional lightweight sweater for warm-up. Men~ White or Light colored t-shirt, dark colored dance pants or shorts.  Athletic/Sport-type pants, sweats, or similar should be form fitting. SHOES:  Ballet slippers (technique shoes).  Pointe Class students may be advised for pointe shoe fitting needs by the instructor.
