Find the square footage of the space you’re aiming to purify. Example: 700 sq ft
Find the CADR, or Clean Air Delivery Rate of the space. Multiply the space’s square footage by 2/3 (two-thirds or .667) or use the calculator mid-page here. Example: 700 sq ft x ⅔ = 467 cfm CADR
Choose the purifier from our inventory that best covers your CADR needs. Purifiers cover more square footage with lower ceilings, and less square footage with higher ceilings. Two smaller filters is better than one larger filter, and can help with air circulation too! Example: 467 cfm CADR is minimally covered by the SA600, or two Corsi-Rosenthals

Filter Placement & Usage Best Practices
- Elevate filters off the floor, such as on a table or counter top
- Place filters in the centre of a room, or at least 0.5 m (1.5’) clearance from walls/objects/people that could block input or clean air output
- Boost air quality in as many ways as possible, such as: more than one purifier; clean and up-to-date HVAC; fans; open windows; microfiber cleaning of floors and surfaces
- Space sources of cleaner air apart evenly from other sources (i.e air filter should not go under an open window)
- Extension cords are okay to use, but plugging directly into the wall is best
