II.               SUPERINTENDENT COMMENTS

  1. National Principals Month - Statement for the minutes by Superintendent De Kuiper to acknowledge and express appreciatiation for the district’s building principals.

 

 

III.      AGENDA MODIFICATIONS

        None are anticipated at this time.

 

 

IV.           CONSENT AGENDA

A.          Minutes of the September 16, 2019 regular board meeting were approved.

         

B.     Approved bills paid as of September 2019.  Checks #129626-129891

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:                      $1,227,948.68

PAYROLL:                                             $4,022,752.78

TOTAL:                                                 $5,250,701.46

 

C.   Approved the 2019 - 2020 Overnight/Out of State Field Trip Requests 

D.        Leave of absence approved for Becca Garza for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

 

Tom DenHerder  moved and Mark Snyder supported the motion to accept the Consent Calendar as presented.

V.         DISCUSSION

  1. Crisis Go                                                 Mark Washington, Cal DeKuiper

This system allows the district to communicate more effectively internally and react in real time with accurate information; this new communication resource is called CrisisGo.  Together with Ottawa County Central Dispatch and first responders, a group met to ensure that this tool will work for all involved.  After a full review process, evaluation and live test with the Ottawa County Central Dispatch District, it is recommended  to move forward with the implementation of this product.

VI.           ACTION        

A resolution was made by Tom DenHerder stating that for the safety of the staff and students of the district, the board will endorse the administration to proceed with the implementation of CrisisGo; Ron Scott supported the resolution.
