WALK-IN OR DROP OFF FOR TAX YEAR 2025

Open for Tax Prep: February 5 through April 10
First Come, First Served Each Day
Thursdays 9am – 5pm and Fridays 9am – 4pm
You will meet with a Tax Counselor to discuss your tax documents. It will be your option to stay with the counselor while they prepare your return, or you can drop off your documents and we will call you to pick up your completed return when it is ready. Chairs will be available if you want to wait.
Complete the following steps before you see a tax counselor:
- Pick up the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide prep packet from the entrance of the Pasadena Library or at the Tax-Aide meeting room and fill out the intake booklet completely.
- Put all your tax documents in the envelope along with:
- The intake booklet
- COPIES of photo IDs for the taxpayer and spouse (if applicable)
- COPIES of Social Security cards or ITINs for all the people on the tax return
- Direct deposit information from your bank (if you request direct deposit)
- Your 2024 tax return (this may help ensure accurate 2025 details)
Masks may be required for interactions with Tax-Aide Volunteers. Please honor this safety precaution, if requested.
