Did you volunteer for IFAP, PFJP, SYLAW, CHRJ App Help, ELS research project? Do pro bono work for a community-based legal or public interest organization? Volunteer as a case manager or leader for a student-led pro bono project? Intern last summer for a public interest organization and didn’t get a summer grant, stipend or externship credit?

If you can answer YES to any of these questions you are likely eligible to participate in the UW Law Pro Bono Honors Society!

*Students who report a minimum of 30 pro bono hours (10 hours for 1Ls) will receive special recognition as a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society.

 *The 1L and the 2L who reports the most pro bono hours out of their graduating class will receive special recognition with a Pro Bono Honors Award.

*The 3L who reports the most hours of pro bono service throughout all three years of law school will be honored with a Pro Bono Student of the Year Award.

*The LLM, MJ, LLLT or PhD student who reports the most hours of pro bono service in a reporting year will receive special recognition.

To apply, please submit the following information:

·           Your full name

·           Which year and degree program you are in

·           Total number of law-related pro bono hours you completed between April 27, 2017- May 4, 2018

·           The organization(s) you volunteered for between April 27, 2017- May 4, 2018
