- Paul has been filling in for Cathy as she visits her new grandson.
Membership:
Marketing:
- Jordan went on the radio to help in marketing of the first Olympic watch party and learn to curl class.
Juniors:
- Curling Rocks Bonspiel had 26 teams. Only one team had to cancel due to weather.
- Overall good event.
Strategic Planning:
- Will resume after curling season.
Olympic Learn To Curl Events:
- Events went well! The club was featured on NBC, 18 people attended the learn to curl portion with interest in joining leagues and stayed after to watch the game.
- Used register to charge for learn to curl class and went very smoothly.
Bar Planning Committee:
- Have not met yet but would like to continue forward on this.
- The goal for this committee is to come up with the clubs plan for if 3.2 license no longer becomes an option, review bar offerings and general profitability.
- Paul has info about liquor license requirements, will forward to the rest of the board.
Paul Bunyan Bonspiel:
- 6 teams have signed up on the poster. People are starting to get teams together, hoping to see more sign up.
Canine Bonspiel:
- Was able to get enough teams to have event.
- Dog demo was well attended and would like to see this event happen again in future years.

- Feed dropped due to some cord issued but Bill Sanford is helping with that.
- Bill is willing to finish Johns Board term which includes one more year. Board will be emailed to vote for approval.
Safesport:
- Lanny has still not completed, his term ends this year.
Rock Handle Engraving:
- Contact to look into getting the nicer handle stickers was an ice tech for the Olympics so we are delayed in getting a response.

- New merchandise discussions will be tabled until the summer to focus on liquidating inventory we currently have.
Motion to reduce price of hoodie and crew neck sweatshirts to 50% off.

Rummage Sale
- Want to move forward with this fundraiser/community event idea.
- Jordan will help organize. Will look into dates for Sanford and Beltrami Community Sales to make sure dates do not conflict.
- USCA has floor curling kits clubs can borrow. Conrad will reach out to see if we can get one to have during this event.
USCA Dues:
- Amanda emailed document about what USCA dues goes towards.
- There has been contention from other clubs on paying these dues because of not knowing or misunderstanding where funds go to. Dues to not go to high performance teams, the Olympic Committee pays for high performance teams.
- Our dues forms state that part of the dues paid to BCC does cover USCA dues.
- Board feels that since we have stated on our dues sheet this year that the USCA dues should be paid for this season but can be a discuss this summer on if we want to pay in the future and can adjust membership forms in the future if we decide not to.
Motion to pay this seasons USCA dues
1st: Conrad Kelly
2nd: Jordan Stearns
Board Seat Openings:
- Discussion on how voting should take place
Motion to have both online and in person ballot options

- Name of member will have to be put on ballot and board will confirm paid dues as well as only one vote counted
