FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you support Progressive Policy?

We support progressive policy in the contexts of campaigns. That way an issue, out of context and otherwise, would not make itself apparent in an election we hope to be a part of. The policy comes into play when determining a candidate but is not a litmus test.

Is this LAURA PAC similar to EMILY’s LIST? (who supports female Democratic candidates)

Only in that it is also an acronym. LAURA stands for Local Alliance for Urban and Rural Advancement and was workshopped by Director Jonathan Stevens. The mission is to go into rural and urban areas that have been politically neglected.

Our slogan being “Promoting Progressives from School Board to State Senate” to emphasize the PAC’s mission to build the electorate at the local level and up.
