Prevention
- Connect families to resources
- Provide district staff with the most current AODA resources, curriculum, and information
- Monitor AODA trends within the district to provide the most accurate prevention and intervention
- Serve on AODA community coalitions as district representatives
- Provide prevention presentations in health classes
- Implement peer education programs
Intervention
- Provide research-based screening tool, Teen Intervene, to students who have committed an AODA related policy violation
- Connect students and families who are facing AODA challenges to appropriate community resources
- Facilitate groups for students and cover AODA topics
