Thank you!

Thanks for agreeing to be part of Not Everyday Life

Firstly, we would like to reassure you that all information is anonymized. This means that nothing that you say to me today can be traced back to you as an individual. The most anyone would know is that it was from (for example) a female interviewee in Malaysia who is in her 60s.

Everyone who contributes to Not Everyday Life has access to the data, and can use it to

make sense of people’s reactions and situation, including using it to help their business or

clients understand people better.

Please be assured, however, that your data cannot be used for sales purposes, and you

would not be contactable or traceable by anyone other than the person who has

interviewed you.

If you feel uncomfortable about this at any time in the future, you can ask for your data

records to be destroyed. We will keep your data for a maximum of 12 months, after which

time it will be destroyed or deleted.

Agreement

Not Everyday Life, has engaged ‘the interviewer’ to carry out an interview concerning life during and emerging from a pandemic. Individuals who choose to take part do so on a voluntary basis by giving their consent to be interviewed. Only the interviewer and other interviewers who have submitted other interviews will receive your personal data. Your personal data will remain in the EU at all times; and will be held for a maximum of one year.

Participants may withdraw their consent to the use of their personal data at any time by

contacting Not Everyday Life at DPO@noteverydaylife.com. You have the right to a copy of your personal data, or to have it corrected or deleted. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, or to restrict the processing, or to make a complaint directly to the Data Protection Commission.

You can exercise your rights by contacting our DPO as above. Reports related to your ‘everyday life’ will be used by Not Everyday Life to understand the profiles of different types of people and their behaviours and attitudes during the pandemic. We will not use your personal data for any other purposes.

Please check the ‘Yes’ below, box, if you consent to your data being used in this way, or “No” if you do not.

We also want to assure you that this is a casual, informal chat. We don’t have a long list of questions. There’s no right or wrong answers and we’re just interested in your personal experiences. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, we can move on, or stop.

You are in control of your interview and your data.
