2020 Coosa Football Stadium Guidelines
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The following Guidelines will be used for the 2020-2021 school year at the CHS Stadium. We appreciate your cooperation while you are on campus. Please feel free to contact the school should you have any questions.
Tickets and event entry
- Game tickets are $8.00. (Cash only)
- Floor Markings will allow spectators to form a socially distanced line.
- Presale tickets will be available at the CHS office on Wednesday-Friday of Game week and for students during their lunch periods. Presale tickets will be available for visiting teams and is mandated for all Region 7AA games.
- Tickets will be sold at the gate on both ends of the stadium on Game Day.
- GHSA passes on the new Dragon Fly App will be accepted at both points of entry. GHSA passes admit the passholder and one guest.
- Floyd County Schools ID badges will be accepted and will admit the badge holder.
- All Sport passes can be purchased at the school, and your name will be left at the pass gate.
- All ticket takers are required to wear a face covering and gloves.
- Gates will open at 6:00 pm
- Parking: General admission parking is available on both ends of the stadium. A $3.00 donation is requested and appreciated. Reserved parking is available through the Coosa Eagle Booster Club.
PPE & Social Distancing
- Face coverings, face masks, or face shields are REQUIRED for the protection of everyone in attendance.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available throughout the facility.
- Appropriate signage will be placed around the stadium for spectator awareness. All visitors are expected to practice social distancing throughout the stadium.
Stadium seating
- Families are strongly recommended to sit together. All children are expected to sit with their parents before and during the game. A parent/guardian is expected to accompany their child anytime they leave the bleacher area.
- Children/students beneath the 8th grade age level will not be allowed to play/roam/wander during the game. No balls or other items of this nature will be allowed inside the stadium.
- Student sections will be allowed with proper face coverings or masks.
Concession/Restrooms
- Concessions servers will wear masks and gloves.
- Floor Markings will allow spectators to form a socially distanced line.
- Food will be packaged prior to sale and distribution.
- Restrooms will be disinfected prior to the stadium opening and after the game concludes. Custodial staff will be present for all games with the frequency of cleanings increased.
Field level
- Access inside the fence and to the game field will be for authorized personnel only.
- Parents and spectators will not be allowed on the field before, during, or after the game.
- Spectators will not be allowed to crossover from one side to the other during games.
Making FCS Football Stadiums as Safe as possible
The following safety measures will be taken as it relates to personal protective equipment:
- Ticket takers and concession workers will wear masks and gloves. All other workers assigned to various duties (parking, seating, pass gates, etc.) will wear masks. Announcers in the press box should practice social distancing, and utilize a mask or face covering when practicable.
- All spectators are required to wear a mask or face covering in the stadium.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the stadium.
- Social distancing will be maintained throughout the facility to the fullest extent possible, including limiting field access in accordance with GHSA recommendations.
- Floor markings will allow spectators to form a socially distanced line for restrooms, concessions, and ticketing.
Announcers will make multiple public service announcements regarding everyday prevention of COVID-19 throughout games.
Due to the fluid situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, these guidelines are subject to change. We appreciate the continued support of Floyd County stakeholders in keeping the health and safety of our staff and students our top priority!
