After 3 races in 5 days, the team gets a couple days off. They travel to Bloomington Saturday morning for the Tri-North Invitational.

The 7th grade football team lost to a good Bloomington Tri-North football team last night. The Spartans improved offensively and defensively as the game continued. This team has multiple first year players and continue to show improvement every day. The Spartan football team is on the road the next two weeks, and then returns home to play Central in three weeks Sept. 12th.

In the second game of the evening, the 8th grade Spartans battled to the end and came up short 14-0. It was a hard fought game. Alex Narvaez had a great night on offense and defense. He had a 60 yd run and a TD called back. Brennan Cowan, Ian Calvert, and Ty Boone had great defensive nights including three goal line stands. We will be better next week.
