Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park Continue

The Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park series continues this week with two local acts: CTAC School of Music Garage Band and Sean Miller. As always, the free concerts begin at noon in the gazebo at Petoskey’s Pennsylvania Park. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, or enjoy the music from the benches provided.

The concert week begins on Wednesday, August 14 with CTAC School of Music Garage Band. The Garage Band is Crooked Tree Art Center’s rock ensemble for high school students. Band members Aaron Mathews and Evan Beane will share a small taste of the larger group with their acoustic arrangements of classic rock anthems.

The week wraps on Friday, August 16 with Sean Miller. A local singer and songwriter, Sean comprises half of another local staple, The Real Ingredients. When not performing on his own or as The Real Ingredients, Sean can be found writing for the Petoskey News-Review and playing with a number of other local talents across Northern Michigan.

Each Concert in the Park is held at noon, at the gazebo in Petoskey’s Pennsylvania Park. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at Crooked Tree Arts Center.

The Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park are made possible by the generous support of local sponsors: Petoskey’s Downtown Management Board, Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau, Sturgeon River Pottery, the Petoskey Chamber of Commerce, Great Lakes Energy, Blissfest Music Organization, Flowers from Sky’s the Limit, and Meyer Ace Hardware.
