• Performed system-level testing of complete eVTOL powertrain system: L2 requirements verification, baseline EMC, fault injection, baseline power quality, software integration.
• Designed and implemented automated test procedures for requirements-based verification and acceptance testing of Lithium-ion battery modules for eVTOL applications.
• Planned and furnished 640-channel cell test lab for cylindrical and pouch cells, including novel cell test fixtures integrated with Azure data repository.
• Developed pre/post-install test procedures and installation instructions to facilitate successful assembly of electrical powertrain system into novel eVTOL aircraft.
• Designed battery module manufacturing equipment for component positioning and adhesive dispense/curing, integrated onto semi-automated assembly line.
• Lead a series of retrospective sessions to provide actionable changes to team and department operations to improve effectiveness after successful build and flight of novel eVTOL aircraft.

• Patent: Multi-Zone Thermoelectric Temperature-Controlled Cylindrical Cell Test Fixture

• Novel design allows for 87% surface area coverage of cylindrical cells, maintaining surface temperature within 1°C during 10C discharge of 2170-size Li-ion cells.

• Design, fabrication and optimization of FDM/FFF 3D Printers

• Ground-up design and rapid prototyping of 3D printers with industry-leading print speeds, measuring and optimizing thermal and kinematic performance, resonance, deformation, and part cooling.

• Design and fabrication of environment chamber for Instron/MTS Tensile testing machines

• Constructed 200℃ environment chamber; in use at Santa Clara University’s Materials Laboratory.
