Disclosure of conflicts of interest

In July 2023 Euphorium (cultural development company) was engaged as the consultant to deliver the Culture and Creative Industries Plan with Euphorium team member and Ravensthorpe local, Gabrielle Major, as the lead on a four person team.

On the 31st October 2023 Gabrielle’s husband, Tom Major, was elected as the Shire President for the Shire of Ravensthorpe.

Euphorium’s work will continue as planned with additional supervision from Euphorium’s lead consultant Julian Canny and additional advice from the Shire executive team, ensuring transparency and impartiality while minimising any potential conflicts of interest.

To become the enablers of big thinking communities, we believe we need to trust that communities have the wisdom they need to solve their own problems. This includes professional consultancy. As a result conflicts of interest are always going to be an element to manage.

If you have any concerns or would like to address any potential conflicts of interest you can contact either of the following.
